The movie that inspired "The Matrix"... nuff said...
Similar to the story in the manga, Major Matoko is on the mission to capture a cyber terrorist in a future where some humans are more robots than people, thus endangering the whole world. With a strong script, memorable characters and great animation and designs; Ghost in the Shell is not just one of the best anime movies ever made but one of the best sci-fy movies of all time because of how smart everything is handled, from the directing to the writing and the animation quality; it all goes well in perfect harmony.
To me, is one of those movies you must watch before you die, even if you don´t like it... there is a chance that you will find something you will remember. It´s a must see definitely.
