Although it´s a little rough around the edges... it´s a good movie.
The film tells the story of Harvey Milk´s political career has well has some of his personal relationships with his loved ones during his campaigns; the movie does a good job at making you feel like you are truly contemplating the struggles of the gay community during the late 70´s, has well has showing the characters interactions with one another. What takes me a little back of this movie is the passing, at least in some parts; I feel like there are moments that either fly by to quickly or are just not long enough... this may or may not be a personal feeling towards it, however it does is a very distracting element when you think about it.
On a side note, I liked a lot how they showed all the different footages based on the time and events and the cinematography is quite good. Milk is a good movie that stumbles a little bit at times, but not enough to take away from the experience at all.
